Insurance Policy

We understand that your smile is as important to you as it is to us. In an effort to help our patients meet their dental needs both physically and financially, we will assist you in reaching a comfortable financial solution that will fit your situation. We submit insurance claims on behalf of our patients with insurance companies paying our office directly. Below is a list of a few of the insurance companies we bill. Your dental insurance is a product designed by your employer. We will do everything possible to maximize your insurance utilization; however, please do not let the lack of benefits dictate your desired or necessary treatment. We will be happy to answer any questions or concerns regarding your treatment and insurance coverage. Please call our office today to schedule an appointment.

We accept all PPO insurance plans, but may be out of network. Please contact our office, so that we can answer any questions you may have.

We are always happy to bill any PPO insurance plan on your behalf, but recommend that a pre-treatment authorization be sent for any treatment that is over $500 prior to treatment being started.

Please contact the office for details, so we can discuss your options and what plan will work best for you and your treatment plan.

All treatment is to be paid in full on the date of service, unless you have made other arrangements with our office prior to treatment being started.

Cancellation Policy

When scheduling an appointment with Dr. Ackerman we make sure that we reserve that time for you and you alone. We do understand that occasionally conflicts happen and appointments need to be rescheduled. Please keep in mind that Dr. Ackerman requires 48 business hours notice to change any appointment in order to avoid the $75 cancellation fee.
